Booking a dog walker at Happy Paws is simple, we have a number of ways of doing that for your convenience, either through our website form, direct email, or just Whatsapp us, we will get back to you ASAP.
Please note that every dog has to have a Disclaimer Form filled before their first walk, which will be emailed to you once booked. We would have to meet you and your beloved pet for a quick initial meeting to access if your dog would be suitable to go on our rota, and you may have some questions you want to ask us.
All payments can be done on our secure link via Paypal on this website or contactless payment once we pick your dog up.
We also have the facility for you to pay directly into Happy Paws business account, which is to be transferred weekly.
We understand that schedules change and may need to cancel, please note that the first cancellation will be credited to the next walk but anything after or will be lost. It’s important that all dogs have to be chipped and have to be wearing an ID tag by law.
For bigger breeds of dogs, a strong collar has to be worn, for what ever reason we think a collar isn’t suitable for a specific breed of dog for walking, we shall provide a temporary one until you purchase your own collar and harness for the safety of your dog and dog walker.
Our van is also fully fitted out with insulation for heat and the cold winter months.
We also have 10L of vegan soap in a tank to wash down your dogs in winter months when the forest is extremely muddy.
Dogs will need suitable winter jackets to keep them clean and warm.
Insurance
Here at Happy Paws we have Liability Insurance for dog walking, and staff are CRB checked for your peace of mind, we make this our priority in case of your concerns of your dogs welfare.
Our van is fully insured to carry animals and no expense spared when it comes to maintenance and safety.
For safety reasons we do wear a bodycam when walking your dogs, or if we have to enter your premises when picking up your dog while you’re at work.
Any booked one hour walks are done at the local park or forest.
We only walk dogs in groups or minimum of two at a time, which helps with socialisation.
Please note that we can’t accept dogs that pulls excessively on the lead, or dogs that are not vaccinated, or dogs that need muzzling or are aggressive with other client’s dogs.
All dogs are exercised on leads at all times and will not go off lead unless their recall is excellent.
One thing is guaranteed, your dog will get home safe, happy and exhausted every time.

Our prices depends on how far we have to travel.
The prices we are charging will reflect in the quality of service you will get from Happy Paws.

We are closed for 2 weeks during the Christmas season, which you will be notified of the dates nearer to the time.

Payments have to be done immediately after your dog’s dates and times have been confirmed on our rota, which is usually done on a Sunday evening and WhatsApp to you.
